Posting Information for Traveling Wrestlers

May 6, 2017

I post travel information for any touring woman who does wrestling sessions, or at least some kind of muscle sessions, and who gets me the necessary information.  You don't absolutely have to be listed on the list, to have your travel posted, but then I need information on how to contact you to post as well.

The first and most important point  for travelers is to check what I post;   I do make mistakes.  I generally don't send you back an email when I've updated your travel information, I just get too much email.  After a two or three days pass, take a look at what I've posted for you and let me know if there are mistakes.  I don't have a lot of time to make all the postings, so I'm often really flying when I make them, and I make mistakes.  And I may loose emails among all the SPAM messages I get.

I try and update the travel list most nights.  But some nights I just don't have time, or sometimes I'm on the road, where I don't have all my files, or even Internet access, and once a while there are technical problems.  So try to give me a couple of weeks notice before you travel.  Also, email goes astray at times, and I have had problems at times with my email server.  Put the words "Travel Dates" in the subject of your message, since I generally do travel first. It's amazing how often people put nothing in the subject of their messages, or something meaningless like "Hi." I get a lot of mail, much of it SPAM. Don't assume that I will recognize your email address, tell me who you are - I have too many women on the list to recognize everybody's address.

I don't usually respond to travel post emails, unless I have a question or see a problem - I just get too many emails. After a few days  check and see if anything has been posted.   If not, tell me again.

It helps me if you send me information in the format that I publish it in.  That saves me some editing, and reduces the chances of an error. When I'm busy I do the easy stuff first, and the harder stuff when or if I get around to it. DO NOT SEND ME ANYTHING YOU WANT ME TO POST IN ALL CAPS. That's traditionally considered extremely impolite on the Internet, the equivalent of shouting, and I will not post it as caps. Since I have to retype whatever it is, I will move anything I get as all caps to the back of the queue and post it when or if I get around to it.

Dates:  I use the name of the month if it's 4 letters or less, or a 3 letter abbreviation.  I separate the starting and end date with a hyphen and no spaces.   Examples:

Jan. 21-25
June 2-17
Nov. 28-Dec. 2

Cities:  I generally do not give the state or country unless there is some possibility of confusion.  I follow the principle that if you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras. I assume that most folks who might book a session in Dallas, know it is in Texas.  And if they don't, maybe they are too dumb to be a desirable customer.  I assume that folks will know Paris is in France, Berlin in Germany, and London in the UK.  But, of course, it we were talking about Paris, Texas, I would post, "Paris, TX."  I will generally post ""Portland, ME," for the city in Maine, but just "Portland" for the city in Oregor, or "Columbus" for the city in Ohio, but post "Columbus, GA" for the city in Georgia near Ft. Benning.  A fewnames, like "Springifeld" are just problematic, because there are Springfields in many states, none of them particularly big.  But in most cases, anybody who needs to be told what state or country a city is in, is not likely to book a session there.

Hotels: Most travelers do not post the hotel where they are staying.  I advise against it.  But, if you want to tell people where you are staying give me the hotel and it's address (optional). If it's actually not in the city limits, of the major city, I'll post the full address with the town, but not usually the zip code. People aren't going to be writing the hotel I'm generally going to post only what it would take a local to find the hotel. Now thet mobile phones are ubitiquous, nobody gives a hotel phone number.

Example:

  • Betty Bigbiceps, flex@nospam.com, cell: 240-123-4567
    • Aug. 10-13 Washington, DC, Virginian Suites in Arlington
    • Aug. 28-31 New York City (book by Aug. 27)
    • Oct. 8-11 Los Angeles, Renaissance Hotel, 9620 Airport Blvd.

I don't necessarily post all your regular contact information with the travel information, rather I post a link back to your page on the list and an e-mail or phone number, but not necessarily every phone number you may have.  I do post local information, or anything special for a particular trip.  I don't usually post times when you are in your home base, as much as women would like me to do so because then the list would get out of hand.  I have listings by location to identify which girls are resident in specific places.

I recommend that frequent travelers get a cell phone, with a national plan, and I'll post that rather than the hotel phone to contact customers, to help keep a low profile. It may still occasionally make sense, however to also post a hotel number, even if you have a cell phone, because mobiles don't always work well in particular locations.
