The newest Iron Belle, Carmella is a professional bodybuilder and personal fitness trainer. She has competed in and won several amateur tournaments in the Tri-State region, before turning pro two years ago. She currently resides in N.J. - not far from the Holland Tunnel - and is about 30 years old.
Carmella is 5'3" and 165 lb., and is of black/Japanese ancestry. She has 15" biceps, 14" calves, 27" thighs, and a 38" chest. She has extremely broad and muscular shoulders, and a very strong lower body - with her low center of gravity, her legs are powerful and unmovable. She can bench 225 pounds.
This was her first competitive wrestling match - she has done sessions in muscle worship and light semi-competitive, so she was willing to take it to a higher level in an all-out match.
For her first match, Carmella shows a lot of promise. The first thing you notice is the solid muscular look she has - and how strong she is. You have to really be on your toes and use speed to try to get any advantage, because once she locks onto you with a simple headlock or bearhugs, and takes you to the mat, you won't be able to get up. Her power is enormous. In the first half hour I used speed and leverage to win 5 falls - she was new to this style of wrestling and moved slowly, so I took advantage of that. But all the while I knew that as I got weary (because it's not a simple task taking a fall from her) her endurance would eventually get the better of me. At the midway point, my expectation became a reality, as she exploded in a sudden burst of speed and strength, and Carmella took two falls in relatively easy and rapid succession.
My wins came via two pins (once, she was on her back and lifted her legs to trap me in a scissors, so I pushed the legs back onto her shoulders); two more falls came when I trapped her in head scissors and she tapped out before I put the pressure on, and once in a camel clutch - I could have taken 3 more falls using these same holds, but wanted to see how she reacted to pinning and other situations, since this was her first competitive match.
Her first victory came via a slam and pin, and in the second she had me trapped in a leglock with her muscular arms clamped on and about to do damage like it was a toothpick. I decided that to keep her from gaining any more falls, I should continue to use speed and try to keep her on her back - she would use her strength to try to throw me off, but my leverage would be an advantage. She eventually went on to pin me in the only other fall in the final half hour . Several falls were interrupted due to position - at one point I was going to monkey-flip her but there were trophies in a corner; other times, we were close to the walls, etc. Avoid her head scissors if you can, but her small size hampers her from being able to clamp on a body scissors with ease. If she gets you in one though (we did some practicing near the end), she can squeeze the breath out of you.
As far as her personality, Carmella is one of the brightest, friendliest and most knowledgeable people you could ever run across in this genre. As a personal fitness trainer, she has a lot of endurance. She is a genuinely nice, easy-going and sincere individual who is looking to become more active as a wrestler. That is why she is now an Iron Belle. She still likes to and will do muscle worship, light wrestling, posing and lifts/carries, but she will work on more wrestling skills in her local gym.
At another level, I must admit she is also exceedingly attractive - and very exotic. You might have seen pictures of her in bodybuilding magazines, and now there are a few on the Iron Belles webpage, but few of them do justice to just how attractive she is. And her muscular physique is outstanding.
Carmella receives a 4 on my 1 (poor) - 5 (excellent) rating system, based on her potential, willingness to learn, personality and strength. I based it also on the criteria of a competitive match. For any of the other activities, including light wrestling, Carmella would earn a 5. I would recommend that fans check her out !
