Tempest
Lisa, the owner, sends me the following (12/97): "We are an upscale wrestling club located in East Midtown. Our facilities boast showers and a clean, private wrestling room. We have updated our facility, and now have a new huge professional wrestling mat. We feature a variety of women from Petites to Amazons, Model types to Bodybuilders. All are Beautiful, Strong and very Skilled. We offer Light-Fantasy to COMPETITIVE matches as well as two girl matches and Roleplay." When I visited a couple of years ago Tempest had a convenient mid-town
location a block from a subway station and reasonably good facilities.
Now they've moved into a roomier place int he same neighborhood.
E-mail 12/01: "Tempest has a great new place, same neighborhood
as before, 20-30s & Lexington Avenue, but now a larger and cheerier
apartment and building. More importantly, Tempest now has what is
by far the largest matted space in New York area with three (3) large strip
mats velcroed side-to-side.".
